Product Details
The edging of this shawl combines lace and cables for a striking texture that really shines in a hand-dyed yarn. The shawl is worked from side to side, and it's easy to adjust the shawl's width based on how much yarn you have. Increases and decreases in the garter stitch section gently shape the shawl, while a faux i-cord edging along the top makes it easy to block. The cabled lace edging is both written and charted.
The following skills/stitches are used this pattern: knits and purls, slipped stitches, basic knit decreases (k2tog, ssk), yarnovers, simple cables
Notions needed: one stitch marker, yarn needle to weave in ends, cable needle, yarn scale (optional; helpful if you’re changing the weight or amount of yarn used and you want to maximize your yarn usage)
