Lavande Grise ~ gray lavender
This design is for my high school french teacher. She demonstrated bubbly enthusiasm for teaching, speaking only french to the beginning students, thus making an 8am class a joy to attend. I thank her for my only pleasant memory from high school academics ~ beginning each with positive energy.
Lavande Grise features a delicate french-lace border and a tiny picot edging. It is a right-triangle shawl knitted sideways from the right tip, and worked from charts or the full written instructions. Suitable for any yarn weight up to aran, the shawl should be blocked firmly lengthwise from the right tip to the bound off edge. (I used a blocking wire run through the picots on my bound off edge.)
