Worked from just one skein of this beautiful lace weight yarn, this shawl is a joy to knit and elegantly stunning to wear. The pretty lace motif is a short pattern repeat and easy to memorise. Worked top-down from a garter stitch tab, I designed the concentrated lace pattern to be worked on the shorter rows, then the long rows of the garter stitch border act as a therapeutic rhythm leading up to the prettily fluted edging. Blocking releases the true beauty of the Merino/Silk blend, with the faint shimmer of silk adding subtle charm and beauty. This shawl is a lovely size for a Summer drape which wraps generously round the shoulders in uncluttered beauty - perfect for Garden Party chic and Wedding elegance.
