The edges are knitted slightly more firmly, which gives you something to pin with your favorite shawl pin or to hold. The boucle yarn used in the sample shown weighs about 1200 yards per lb, and the wrap uses about 8 oz.This pattern is ideal for the many lovely hand painted mohair boucles on the market, or for an elegant black or white.
