Product Details
“You can't wear a scarf in the Summer!” a very excitable Parisian waiter told me once. “Oh, but I can if it's got lots of holes,” I replied...at least, I think that's what I said in my rather unpractised French! That conversation inspired this gorgeously cool summer pattern that also keeps you cosy on cooler evenings.
The twisted eyelet lacework not only looks amazing, but feels so light to wear. It's a fun, rhythmic pattern and whilst I've used a light fingering weight wool mix yarn for this design, it also works well in cotton.
It's a relaxing project, too, ideal for knitters of all abilities. So whether you're a beginner looking for a slight challenge or been knitting for years, this is a great one skein project to accompany you whilst chilling in the garden, at the beach or onyour travels.
It's easy to style and the perfect summertime accessory that you can wear all year round. And once you've finished your first version, I'm sure you'll be adding a few more to your wardrobe.
