The Fernweh shawl is knit top-down in two-color brioche and one-color pearl brioche, with a garter stripe border and i-cord edges. The textural pearl brioche intersects the vertical two-color brioche lines, broken at the border by horizontal garter stripes.
Yarn: 3 colors of Light Fingering Weight Yarn (1 light color, 1 darker color + 1 color pop)
Yardage: 400 m / 437 yds of Color A, 400 m / 437 yds of Color B, 366 m / 400 yds of Color C
Gauge: 16 sts / 46 rows = 10 cm / 4” in garter stitch (after blocking)

Fernweh ist ein Dreieckstuch, das von oben nach unten in zweifarbigem Patent und einfarbigem Perl-Patent mit Kraus-Rechts-Streifenband und I-Cord-Rändern gestrickt wird. Die Textur des Perl-Patent durchbricht dabei die vertikalen Streifen des Patent in gleichmäßigen abständen, und die horizontalen Kraus-Rechts-Streifen setzen einen Endpunkt. Umgeben wird alles von einem I-Cord für einen sauberen Abschluss in Kontrastfarbe.
