Product Details
The catchy cross and diamond pattern became a focal point of this modern cowl. If you are new to mosaic stitch, this could be a project to start! The mosaic motifs and stripes in 3 colors will make this project a quick and fun one.
Yarn DK weight yarn in 3 colors, approximately 190 yds of each color.
Needles Size US 6 (4 mm) circular needles 24-32”/60-80 cm long, or size to obtain gauge. (Optional) Size US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles 24- 32”/60-80 cm long. While gauge is not critical for this project, different gauge can affect the size and overall yardage.
Additional tools Tapestry needle, waste yarn, crochet hook for Provisional CO.
Gauge 20 stitches and 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) on size US 6 (4 mm) needles in Garter Stitch, after blocking.
Pattern Style: both written and charted instructions using common knitting abbreviations. Mosaic pattern is charted only.
