Socks can definitely look intimidating, but I assure you, if you have a bit of knowledge using DPNs you won't have any issue with this pattern.
These socks have a lot of color and texture. This pattern uses knit and purl stitches only, making it fun and non-intimidating. Also, a great take-along project. This pattern is knit in the round on DPN’s. The pattern is easy to memorize, and that makes this the perfect sock to knit.
Gauge 32 stitches and 48 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Yarn used for socks: Yarn Mountain Colors, CrazyFoot [425 yds per skein] Fingering weight, Color; Summertime
Though, the yarn above was used for these socks, I highly recommend using Berroco Sox. Very nice sock yarn. Any fingering/sock yarn will work.
