The separate adult and child patterns are also available, should only wish to purchase one of them.
This cardigan is worked back and forth in one piece, so use of circular needles is recommended. It is worked top down, and can be made in 6 adult sizes, and 5 child sizes. The balloon sleeves are separated at the armpit and placed on scrap yarn whilst the body is completed. Sleeves are then completed in the round, so magic loop or use of DPNs is recommended. Cuffs & bands are worked in 2x2 rib.
The cardigan is a loose fit, with a wide neck opening. The adult cardigan is worked with Aran weight yarn, whilst the child cardigan is worked with DK yarn.

Needles: (Adult) Circular 4.5mm (US 7) & 5.5mm (US 9) DPNs 4.5mm & 5.5mm for sleeves (Child) Circular 3.5mm (US 4) & 4.0mm (US 6) & DPNs 3.5mm & 4.00mm for sleeves
Yarn: (Adult) Aran 50g x 12 (13, 15, 15, 16, 18) (Child) DK 50g x 4 (5, 5, 6, 7)
