Product Details
Deceptively simple and deeply textured. A folded 1×1 rib brim flows into four panels of slip-stitch cables bordered by double seed-stitch columns. The secure, elongated stitches make cabling without a needle easier than ever.
If you’ve never worked cables without a cable needle before, don’t be scared! The slipped stitches mean your work is unlikely to unravel, so this is a great project if you’d like to try this technique.
PATTERN INFORMATION
This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with an Italian cast on for a folded 1×1 rib brim. After the brim, slip-stitch cable panels and double seed-stitch columns are worked seamlessly to the crown. Both written and charted instructions are included for every size. The cables are designed to be worked without a cable needle, and the crown decreases are worked in pattern for a clean, cohesive finish. The pattern has been fully tech edited and test knitted.
