If you are looking for a quick Christmas knit, then this is for you! This super soft stocking is knitted in a super chunky yarn in gorgeous red and cream stripes. It is worked in the round from the top down and features a rib cuff, patterned leg and foot and an afterthought heel, worked at the end by picking up stitches from scrap yarn. The colour work uses the stranded method (carrying colour not in use across the inside). Techniques include casting on and working in the round, knit and purl stitches, simple colour work, increases and decreases, picking up stitches and grafting (Kitchener stitch).
