Fascinating cables embedded in ribbing flow across the fabric of this beautiful wrap.
Calathea Wrap is a long sideways-knit shawl. You start knitting at one tip, then work your way across to the opposite tip, creating an elongated tapered shape. This shape is very versatile and easy to wear.
I made my original sample with a fingering weight held together with a fluffy lace weight yarn to achieve a dk-worsted weight gauge, but the pattern provides lots of options for easy adjustments if you wish to use a different yarn weight or make a smaller/ larger shawl according to the available yardage.
Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.
