The block stitch is such an unusual stitch for a baby blanket because of its angular look. Normally, the block stitch is worked in rows. Here, it’s been adapted to be worked in the round for a beautiful alternative to the traditional granny square design. The blanket works up quickly and is relaxing to make.
The pattern includes a chart to show stitch placement, helpful photos for various steps and a video tutorial that shows how to block stitch in the round.
