With this easy pattern, you can make a super realistic looking barn owl.
Size: 5 inch/ 13 cm sitting when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.
The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials For this crochet barn owl you’ll need worsted weight yarn (Lètt Lopi) and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need three colours: white, oatmeal and a left-over bit of barley. You also need a bit of light pink yarn to embroider the nose (you can also use the barley colour for that). For the eyes I’ve used 10 mm animal eyes. You also need fibrefill to stuff the owl. Lopi colour numbers: 0051, 0085 & 1419.
