Worked up in a super bulky yarn, the Barents Cowl is a quick and easy knit that looks more complex than it is - perfect for Christmas gift-giving.
When I first got my hands on a skein of Tundra yarn I spent most of my time stroking it, thinking about what it would become. It is so incredibly soft and luscious, I knew it had to be something I could snuggle up in, and wear against my skin. The name of one of the colorways was “Barents Sea,” which lead me to think about icy seas where you’d bundle up tight.
The Barents Cowl will keep you toasty while the icy winds blow – it is designed to be worn folded in half, which gives it structure and keeps you warm. The outer stitch pattern is reminiscent of oceans and sea ice, while the inside ribbing keeps it close to your neck.
This pattern has been Tech Edited and Test Knit for errors and clarity.
Pattern includes both charted and written instructions.
