Product Details
Arlo & Alice sweater vest is a unisex seamless top-down knit for babies and children and is the “mini” version of my adult pattern [Abbi Shawl Collar Cardigan][1]. It is sized from infant – 8 years and would make a perfect little layering piece for the fall & winter for both boys and girls.
Using aran/bulky-weight yarn, it’s a fast knit and because instructions are given for two versions (stripes all over or stripes at the bottom), you can also have lots of fun with color.
Additionally, a photo tutorial is included in the pattern for how to create the optional patch-pocket, shown in the photographed “stripes-at-bottom” version.
Both of the samples photographed used Berroco Vintage Chunky. The “stripes-all-over” version was knit at the 0-6 month size and the “stripes-at-bottom” version was knit at the 2 yrs size.
