Note: Cowl used exactly 5 skeins but to allow for different gauges & swatching it is advisable to get a sixth skein.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
- US size 4 / 3.5 mm circular needles, 24” / 60 cm long
Always use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed, as every knitter’s gauge is unique.
- Tapestry needle, cable needle (cn), stitch marker.
GAUGE
- 22 sts and 40 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Garter Stitch
- 54 sts and 37 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Cable 1
Note: The Large Cable causes the fabric to fold creating a tighter gauge.
- 36 sts and 37 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Cable 4
