Written pattern
Materials required: one pair of size 16 (1.50 mm/US size 3/0) knitting needles, 55 yards/50 metres each of two colours 1-ply wool, cotton or acrylic yarn (Note: cotton and acrylic yarns will drape better than wool). NOTE: This is knitted in two colours of wool worked together to give a tweed effect.
The poncho can be worked in one colour using either two strands of 1-ply wool, any 2-ply wool or in a single strand of 1-ply wool to give more of a drape to the finished garment.
Approximate finished size: 3½-inches/9 cm square (excluding fringe)
Gauge – Gauge is not important as dolls house dolls (like humans) vary greatly in size and proportions.
