Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo - Cross Stitch Pattern by Honeyeater Crafts

A counted cross stitch pattern of a Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo as drawn by Elizabeth Gould. This large black and yellow Australian native bird is also known as a Funereal Cockatoo.

The stitches used include whole, quarter and three-quarter cross stitch and backstitch. At 99 x 148 stitches, the finished design size is approximately 18 cm x 26.9 cm (7.1" x 10.6"). (On 14-count Aida and does not include margins for framing.)

Uses 12 DMC stranded cotton colours: 310, 611, 612, 642, 644, 646, 725, 727, 822, 833, 963, 3787 (six skeins of 310, the rest use one skein of each on 14-count Aida).
