XL Easter Egg Cover

I found these giant Easter Eggs for my grands and immediately imagined all the goodies I would fill them with! I was even going to put them in those pretty cellophane bags with a giant bow on top. Then I thought to myself, “Are you crazy?! You have an EXCESS of yarn at home…just make a cool cover!!!”

Et Voila! I guess the voices got it right this time 🥳🥳🥳

Even though you’ll be using the magical seamless join for this kind of crochet mesh, the basic Egg Cover is definitely a BEGINNER FRIENDLY pattern, although the curlicue tie may be more ADVANCED BEGINNER. But No Worries, at 11 pages, this pattern has a full photo tutorial for BOTH!

Beginners will enjoy learning a new technique and more experienced crocheter’s will love how fast these are to whip up! There are two separate patterns, one for the Large 12” Eggs and one for the XL 18” eggs. Plus I have also included a handy dandy section on how to CUSTOMIZE IT for even larger or smaller eggs 🙌🏽🥰🙌🏽
