Wyatt's Deer makes the perfect gift for babies or children of every age...even old age! He is sweet, soft and cuddly. He is happy to be a toy or a holiday decoration.
He can be knit with DK or worsted weight yarn, The sample shown was made with Sugar n Cream Worsted Weight Cotton but he works up beautifully in wool blends also.
The pattern includes complete instructions to knit the deer and overalls flat or in the round in pieces, The pieces are then sewn together. There are lots of charts, pictures and clear written instructions to ease the way in your creation of this special friend. Note: if you prefer to knit the body seamlessly from the bottom up, check out Daisy Delightful Bunny. All my 14 inch softie's can wear each others clothes. You will not want to stop at one! You can knit the body and head with the method you prefer and use the ears and clothing from any of my softie patterns.
