Wrapped in Memories Blanket was designed for my 2018 Blanket CAL. It is designed to use up leftover yarns from previous projects (we all have large quantities of these!). A background colour is used to bring unity to the design.
As part of the design process I made 2 blankets - one in 4ply yarn leftovers and another in Stylecraft Special DK.. The yarns and quantities stated in these notes are for the Stylecraft Special DK version which is the bright blanket on the chair. However, this blanket can be made in any yarn weight - as long as you use the same yarn weight throughout.
The design has 7 different squares and you can make as many as you like, and make the blanket to any size you like. The squares are joined as you go (definitely my preferred method!) in a nifty way that gives a fairly solid join. The border is a simple neat border that reflects the edging of the motifs.
The pattern is written in UK terms and has charts. (US terms are available on Ravelry)
