A guernsey style sweater in a longer length, perfect to wear over a shirt for extra warmth. The patterned border is echoed on the sleeves and the cabled yoke adds some dimensional interest. It is an very generous fit. There is no shaping on the sides and the cabled pattern is easy to follow. The collar does require some skill in short row knitting, however this is easy to follow in the instructions.
This garment is suitable for both girls and boys, with a darker coloured yarn and suitable buttons for the boys.
