Windy Waves Shawl

What inspired me? The loving energy of the sea. It gives me strength, inspiration, and total relaxation. My roots are strongly connected to coastal people and the coastal culture, so I always long for the sea. As soon as I saw the beautiful yarn in the colorway “Watercolor” I could almost smell the aroma of the salty sea and the wind which blew in my face. In my body, I could feel the waves crashing against the rocks. And what is more beautiful than the sun shining and glittering on the water? I hope that you will also have a similar experience when you knit this shawl and have the same feeling every time you wear it. 

The Windy Waves Shawl is knitted from the neck down. It is an easy and quick, one skein knit, worked in garter stitch and a single lace pattern. Each right-side row increases by 4 stitches, and each wrong-side row increases by 2 stitches. An i-cord bind-off makes the edge stable so it will not roll up. Video-tutorial included.
