About the Design: This Wild Rose motif was derived from an Arts & Crafts era wallpaper frieze. I was taken by the simplicity of the shape, but as I dislike working intarsia, and wanted the pullover knit in-the-round, I decided that duplicate stitch would be the best way to depict the image. The plain knitting and bulky yarn make this sweater a quick and easy project.
Yarn: JCA Reynolds’ Lopi, 3.5 oz/110 yd skeins: 8/9/10 Oyster #364 (MC), 1each: Garnet #116, Dk. Fuchsia #84, Dk. Rose #134, Pale Rose Heather #02, Dk. Olive #239, Green Heather #14, Lt. Olive #240, Gold #332.
Gauge: 13 sts & 18 rnds = 4″ (10cm) in st st using size 10 (6mm) ndls or size to give gauge.
