A rippling stitch makes tracks in a warm, fuzzy yarn. These cuffs add a bit more warmth above your boots and stop any cold drafts from reaching your toes. Before you cast on, there is something you need to know: Ladies, this stitch does not make “sense”… it seems to break all rules of logic and proper order. Count, follow the instructions slavishly, and the pattern will appear just like magic once a couple inches are knit! I wrote the chart and I still have to watch it carefully when I knit! Don’t assume everything is out of line till you have knit a bit. The sizes included will cover everyone from children to plus size adults. These cuffs were originally knit in Knit Picks Reverie yarn. Almost any yarn of a similar weight (heavy worsted) will work.
