Product Description
These socks feature an eye-catching mosaic motif which decorates the leg with a contrasting colour. They are inspired by my previous design, the Walk in the Woods shawl.
The socks are worked cuff-down in the round using the magic-loop method.
Mosaic knitting is an easy colourwork technique that uses slipped sts and only one colour at a time, but creates fascinating results. The pattern contains fully written as well as charted instructions for the mosaic pattern so you can choose which you prefer to work from.
Since this pattern only requires a fairly small amount of the contrast colour and the number of rounds for the mosaic motif is easily adjustable, it would also be great for leftovers or those sock sets that come with a mini skein.

Designed for fingering weight sock yarn plus a contrasting yarn (this can also be a sock yarn or a fluffy Suri like I used for my sample).
