Vizand

Vizand is reversible and it can be done as a scarf or, in a wider version, as a shawl to wrap up in on a cold day.

The pattern combines stockinette and reverse stockinette with half-brioche stitch to give the shawl extra texture. The pattern is worked on both sides and requires some attention until you get the rhythm.

Yarn – sock / fingering, sport or DK. My shawl was knit in sockweight yarn.

Gauge is not crucial, my gauge is 23sts = 10cm/4’’ in stockinette blocked.

Size can be adaptable in both width and length. On the one hand, the overall size depends on the yarn weight and needles, on the other hand you can add repeats to make the shawl longer or increase / decrease the number of sts you cast on to make it wider or narrower.
