From ancient times, mid-winter has been celebrated by decorating our homes with greenery. Amidst the snow and the cold the green branches promise the return of Spring and warmer times ahead. Now, we just need to add extra touches to bring that revitalising theme into the whole room. The Verwood Cushions feature wide-spaced ribbed cables for a wonderful texture and depth of colour. They are worked in a deep green bulky yarn which knits up quickly, and the pattern includes two different sizes.
Pattern Information:
Yarn:Valley Yarns Northampton Bulky, 100% wool, 100m/109 yds:100gm ball, gauge: 12 sts:10 cm/4 ins using 6.5mm/US #10.5 needles, in Colour: Pacific Teal.
Techniques:Knitting, purling, increases, decreases, slipped stitches, working in the round, cabling & 3-needle bind off.
