Tunisian Pinwheel Square

This project employs the Tunisian Simple Stitch. However, the square is small enough that a regular crochet hook can be used. It is perfect for joining to other identical squares to make a larger project, such as a blanket, shawl, or bag.

With a decorative edging added, it can be used as a dishcloth or hot pad.

This is a good project to use up yarn scraps, as each triangle can be made in a different color. Each triangle uses approximately 5 yards of worsted weight yarn.

After using this pattern, you will be able to make a nearly invisible seam in a Tunisian Simple Stitch project using the mattress stitch. Photo tutorial included.
