If you need a casual, mostly garter shawlette next in your wardrobe – this is the project for you! Emanating from a soft i-cord upper edge, the shawlette is worked from end to end, and the fringes as you go. Therefore it is the perfect project for self-striping yarns, or other yarns playing with colour.
It includes a simple eyelet decoration, and most of the knitting is done in a simple 8-row repeat until half of the yarn is used up, and then reversed. The shape is accentuated by short rows.
