Theresa Mittens

An arrangement of cables and dotted ribs creates a fascinating, textured fabric on these beautiful mittens. The folded cuff makes them extra cozy.

I’m also wearing my matching Theresa Wrap in the photos in this pattern.

The cable pattern may seem complex at first, but I designed it in a way that let’s you only use two different cables arranged in a very intuitive way, so it’s actually fairly easy to knit.

The mittens are worked bottom up (from cuff to finger tips) in the round. Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

YARN:

Designed for sport to light DK weight yarn.

Sample: Cardiff Cashmere Classic (light DK weight, 100% Cashmere, 25 g = 112 m / 120 yd), 2 balls used (50 g = 224 m / 240 yd) in colour 709 Life.

I used exactly 2 balls with no leftovers for my sample mittens, so please make sure you have enough yarn available.
