The Desert Sunset version of the Audrey May Beanie is made with an even amount of slouch between the forehead and the crown . I've made mine with a couple of different yarns from my stash but I've suggested a yarn with a similar colour here .
You start at your forehead to measure your correct size for the band . Stitches required include treble , double and slipstitch in UK terms . I’m wore mine to the Alice Springs Beanie Festival in the Northern Territory Australia last year . If you purchase the pattern , you are welcome to sell items made from it but you cannot sell my pattern .
