Summer Festival was inspired by Josephine Shawl by Susan Gutperl. My friend, Sue, showed me her lovely, knitted wrap that she had made with Sekku, and I decided to try and make a crocheted version. It was so fun to make because the Noro Sekku had such surprising, wonderful colors. I tried to accentuate the thick/thin of the Sekku with alternating rows of picots.
The wrap is 66 inches in length by 25 inches at the widest point.
