This is an original pattern for a colourful double thickness potholder with a stripey pattern on the front. The reverse is plain red, and both thicknesses are joined by a double row of crochet in red with white spots.
I have recommended 100% cotton yarn, making it safe to stand warm dishes on and to protect your hands from burns. Measures 10” x 9” (26cm x 23cm) plus the hanging loop at the top. Stitches used are slip stitch, single crochet, long border stitch. Instructions for all stitches are included in the pattern together with photographs to help you along.
