Introducing my Square Coaster knitting pattern. This free knitting pattern makes a mitred square in garter stitch. I have used my squares as drinks coasters, but you could also knit a bundle and sew your squares together to make blankets, bags, or purses. The coaster is 10 cm square. The coaster is knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight single-pointed knitting needles. You will also need to cast on, knit, work decreases, and knit stripes.
