A stunning shawl that looks amazing but is actually fairly straightforward to knit. The pattern gives two sizes - for an 80” and 50” shawl. Using only 60g and 35g of laceweight yarn each, this is a perfect pattern for using up the end of a special ball of yarn. Sineabhar is Scots Gaelic for both gin and juniper, and this was knitted up for a cocktail-loving friend of mine. The grey-green colour of the yarn reminded me of the young juniper bushes we see on the Scottish hillsides at this time of year so it seemed the perfect name for this gorgeous shawl.
