Shepherd beanie

It's getting foggy... and I saw a shepherd with his flock of sheep in the meadow next to our little river "Aisch" at day break. I simply had to draft this beanie!

And cool: the sheep are back and I could get some pictures! When I approached they all came running. I think they thought they get feeded. No just photographed ;-)

It has a three color ribbing, followed by tiny sheep and the shepherd and his dog above. Next come the trees next to the river in the morning fog in grey and white and in the back you can see further trees and the church tower and some houses of our little town.

The sky in the lovely day break colored sky in red, yellow, and blue with the orange sun rising ending in a lovely crown pattern. :)

Due to the many color changes it is a hat for more experienced stranded knitters. However it's easier to knit than you may think as there are at most two colors in one round!

You need a lot of colors but not much of it (some sock yarn leftovers will do).
