Scraps Chaps

A great beginner toy pattern with lots of possibilities! The pattern includes directions for all four animals: a cat, a dog, a pig, and a rabbit. These toys can be knit from a single yarn, or from yarn scraps of different colours and/or textures. You'll need a total of about 120 m of yarn for each toy. The yarn given in description is a suggestion of what works well for toys. A full materials list is included in the pattern. The two sizes are knit from the same instructions, simply using either worsted or chunky weight yarn on 4 or 5 mm needles.  If you want to make your toys some clothes, my Breton Shore outfit was designed to fit these toys.
