Rivuletta Cowl

Inspired by water rippling over pebbles on the bottom of a stream, the bulky yarn makes the simple texture stand out as it moves gently round the cowl. This is my adult sized Rivulet Cowl scaled down for kids. It’s a much more interesting project to knit and wear than the ubiquitous plain bulky cowls, but works up equally fast. Written instructions are given as well as a chart. A young knitter with some experience would enjoy this as a first “magic loop” project. Equally lovely for boys and girls, it is more practical than a scarf because it doesn’t get in the way when playing outdoors.
