Rheinfall Tee

Rhine Falls, are one of the 3 largest waterfalls in Europe and I’m always deeply impressed by the beauty of the water masses that fall over the rocks. No surprise that my first summer shirt with a waterfall collar is called "Rhine Falls".

Techniques Used

· Long tail cast on

· Circular knitting

· Lace knitting

· Knitted bind off

· Optional: Reverse single crochet

Construction

The tee is worked top down with a raglan shaping. Lace motif on the left sleeve and on the back. The lace motif on the back runs diagonaly from left shoulder to the right side of the hip. After finishing the raglan increases the sleeve stitches are placed on waste yarn. After the body is finished the short sleeves are knit without decreases and finished in a similar way as the body. Tip: Adjust the length of body and sleeves as you prefer. Just keep in mind, that this will require more yarn. The tee is meant to be worn with positive ease in the bust and waist.
