This cable hat pattern is a little different from the usual ones. The cables are relaxed, making the hat a little lighter and airier, while still being warm, soft and squishy. The cables are also a little easier to work, as they are relaxed.No purl stitches are used.
The pattern comes in 11 sizes to fit all heads from newborn to large adult. The hat features a tubular cast on, which gives a beautiful rounded edge. A standard cast on can be used, if desired. Worked in the round, on 4 mm US 6 needles and using DK( Light Worsted or 8 ply) yarn. You will need between 50 - 100 g of yarn, depending on the size and yarn used.
