Make a super realistic hedgehog with this easy pattern. The head and body are made in two pieces. The body is made with loop stitches that form on the inside of your work. Cutting and modelling the spines does require your own skill together with the instructions in the pattern.
Size: when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm the hedgie will be 6.5 inch / 16.5 cm long and 3 inch / 8cm high.
The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials: you’ll need worsted weight yarn (Lètt Lopi) and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook and lace weight yarn (Einband Lopi) held together, worked with the same hook. Colours camel 1400 (or straw 1418) and murky brown 1420 and brown 0853 and beige heather 0886. 7 mm animal eyes and fibrefill.
