This pattern will allow you to create a soft and endearing animal. You can have fun with textures and colors, and use the crochet hook size that suits you (the size of the plush will then be different) and even use your leftover balls to make his spines!
I have written this pattern with many detailed explanations and photos so that it is easy to make and adapt it to your taste. This pattern has been checked by a team of amigurumi testers, to guarantee its good understanding and realization.
My model is made with a 4mm hook for a size of 21cm with a Bulky / Chunky yarn like STYLECRAFT Softie Chunky or KING COLE Timeless Chunky for the body and for the spines, a brightly colored "spray" yarn of the same gauge as suggested below (only one suggestion is needed, NOT the full list)
Obviously, you can use whatever yarn & colors you like, DK, Cotton... This is just an information.
