Two birds with one shot - scarf and hat in one piece. It is really comfortable for both - babies and parents. The pattern includes sizes baby to adult so you can make matching scarfs-hats for both!
If you are not a fan of pom-poms pattern includes instructions how to make fringes as well.
Materials:
- worsted weight yarn approx.: - 100g or 273 yds for baby
- 150g or 409 yds for toddler and child
- 250g or 682 yds for teen and adult
- crochet hook 4mm (G) or size needed to obtain gauge
- measuring tape
- stitch markers (optional, you can use contrasting color yarn instead to mark where you have to start and finish)
- scissors
Stitches used:
- ch – chain stitch
- sc – single crochet
- dc – double crochet
- sl st - slip stitch
- Special stitches (I explain them with step by step description and photos):
- Popcorn stitch
- FP dc - Front post double crochet
