This pattern has been tested with various size pots between 6-10" diameter. The nature of the piece means it should accommodate a variety of shapes and sizes.
The butterfly trim (included) can be used to add a splash of colour long before/after the flowers have bloomed,
YOU WILL NEED
For the hanger: 100 m DK (light worsted weight) strong cotton yarn, 3.50 mm hook, a needle for neatening ends, a stitch marker (optional) and a split ring (key ring/jump ring). The split ring is used to hang the item. If you have a large enough hook, you will be able to hang the lengths without the split ring.
For the butterfly: oddments of 4-ply (fingering) yarn, a 3.50 mm hook, a needle for neatening ends and some all-purpose glue (optional).

- 4 ply is used for butterfly trim only. The remainder of the hanger is made using DK weight yarn. Cotton/hard wearing yarns are recommended.
