**About the Design: **This pattern gives several options – both neck and shoulder cowls in 2 weights of yarn – DK and Chunky wt. The chunky wt. neck and shoulder cowls are in one size. The DK wt. neck cowl is in one size. The DK wt. shoulder cowls are in 2 sizes - S-M and M-L.
As it is not possible to list all details for the options this pattern offers, I am just listing the DK shoulder cowl size and yarn options.
Originally knit in Kraemer Yarns soft Alpaca Handknitting Yarn, I have suggested Berroco Ultra Alpaca Eco, as a substitute, as this yarn comes in similar natural shades. Another option would be Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca in both their DK and Chunky weights.
Gauge: 19 sts and 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st with DK wt. and size 8 ndls, 12 sts and 16 rows = 4” in St st with Chunky wt. and size 11 ndls or size to give gauge. To save time, take time to check gauge.
