Pax is a peaceful alpaca, with a woolly scarf to keep their long neck warm and snuggly. This pattern uses a combination of garter and stockinette stitch, with some simple increases and decreases to make your huggable alpaca pal. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toy is knitted in DK weight alpaca yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round), and the scarf is knitted in a wool blend aran weight yarn. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish. Pax is gorgeous All the parts easy to follow and well explained jow to sew them and in what order. I would have liked abut more detail on where to attach tail, nose, and embroidered facial features but I checked the photos on the pattern and it’s looking ok.
