Paw-print Socks

Little lacy paw-prints track up the front and back of these toe-up socks, between ribbed panels. Dogs, cats, panthers, wolves - I don't know who these paw-prints belong to... Made in 4 ply fingering, they start with a provisional cast-on to work the toe in simplified 2 needle short rows, before continuing with 4 dpns (or 2 circulars if you usually do this). The heel flap is done in a slip stitch pattern to give cushioned comfort and a better shape. Size is for a medium women's foot but the length can be altered. Use any 4 ply/fingering sock yarn you like – a single colour helps the pattern stand out better.
