A simple crochet mesh transforms this basic hat into modern and stylish accessory.

This is a pattern for all the relaxed knitters who want to make something fast and easy, but looking different and original. Both parts of the hat (knitted and crocheted) are very basic and the project is suitable for beginners. Hat is worked from the bottom up in the round, mesh is attached to the ribbing made from light weight yarn in the same color to give the look of natural extension of the ribbing and covers the hat as a “bag”.

Small quantities of three different yarns are used for each part of the hat: Aran weight yarn, approx. 15 g / 40 m / 45 yards – main color 30 g / 75 m / 80 yards – contrasting color Fingering weight yarn approx. 10 g / 45 m / 50 yards – for the mesh Yarn estimations are given without pom-pom.
